Jonathan Chan is the Professor of Cardiology at Griffith University, Eminent Consultant Physician at The Prince Charles Hospital, and Director of Echocardiography at Gold Coast Heart Centre in Queensland, Australia.
Professor Chan has been awarded a PhD in Medicine with his research focused on the application of myocardial strain using speckle tracking echocardiography. He has been invited to be the chapter Author on Myocardial Work and Strain in the latest American Society of Echo ASE Textbook of Comprehensive Echocardiography. He currently serves as the International Regional Committee member of the Australian and New Zealand chapter of SCCT Society of Computed Tomography and is on the Guidelines committee for establishing the Calcium Score Position Statement for CSANZ Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand. He serves on the journal for ASCI Asian Society of Cardiac Imaging.

Andrew Coats is President-Elect of the Heart Failure Association, and was the inaugural Director of the Monash Warwick Alliance and Academic Vice-President, Monash and Warwick Universities.
Andrew attended Melbourne Grammar School and studied at Oxford and Cambridge. He has a higher doctorate from Oxford (DM) and Imperial (DSc.). Andrew was appointed Viscount Royston Professor of Cardiology at Imperial College in 1996 and Director of Cardiology and Associate Medical Director of the Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS trust. Andrew was appointed Dean of Medicine at the University of Sydney in 2002, and subsequently Deputy Vice-Chancellor. Andrew was before the Monash-Warwick Alliance role CEO of the Norwich Research Park, the UK oldest and largest research and innovation park.
He holds fellowships of the Royal College of Physicians of London, the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, the European Society of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology and the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand. Andrew served as chairman of the NSW Ministerial Advisory Committee on Medical and Health Research (MACMHR) and the Australian Health Information Council (AHIC). Andrew has published two theses, 15 Government reports, 10 textbooks, two Cochrane reviews, over 6500 peer-reviewed full papers and has more than 87,000 career citations, and a personal H-index of 126 (ISI Web of Science, 31/1/2019). He has been Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Cardiology since 1999 and has received the Linacre Medal of the Royal College of Physicians and the inaugural Michael L Pollock award of the American Heart Association.
His research interests are in chronic heart failure, hypertension, and organizational behaviour. Andrew has a MBA from London Business School, is a Diplomate and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and member of the UK Institute of Directors. He has over 60 board years of experience in the biotechnology, education and research sectors. Andrew has multiple patents and co-founded PsiOxus therapeutics (formerly Myotec).

He is the Watkins Family Distinguished Chair in Cardiology at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He served as President of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) in 2014-15. He is the Co-Director of the ACC Board Review Course for Certification and Recertification and Editor-in-Chief of the ACC Self-Assessment Programs (ACCSAP). O'Gara served as Chair of the American Heart Association's (AHA's) Council on Clinical Cardiology. James Udelson is Chief of the Division of Cardiology as well as Director of Nuclear Cardiology at Tufts Medical Center. He is a Professor of Medicine and Radiology at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, and in 2012 received the Distinguished Faculty Award from the Medical School. Prof Udelson's research interests involve studying the effects of new therapeutic modalities in the setting of heart failure as well as chronic coronary artery disease, as well as studying the development of imaging modalities to assess those effects.
He was an Associate Editor for the American Heart Association's cardiovascular journal Circulation from 2004 - 2016. In 2008, he was appointed as the initial Editor-in-Chief for the AHA's; then new journal Circulation: Heart Failure. In the ensuing 4 years, Circulation Heart Failure attained the highest impact factor of all subspecialty heart failure journals, and which also places it in the top tier of all cardiovascular journals. He is on the editorial board and has served as a Guest-Editor for the Journal of the American College of Cardiologyand the Journal of Nuclear Cardiology.
Prof Udelson has served on the AHA/ACC/ASNC Radionuclide Imaging Guidelines writing Task Force, as well as numerous other national Guideline and Appropriate Use Criteria writing groups, including as a co-chair of the ACC/ACR Writing Committee for Appropriate Use Criteria to Assess Imaging Modalities to Evaluate Chest Pain in the Emergency Department. He is a chapter author for Braunwald's Heart Disease textbook for the past 4 editions as well as for the 2017 edition.
Prof Udelson is Past-President of the 5,000 member American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, and has served a 5 year term on the Board of Trustees of the 30,000 member American College of Cardiology (ACC). He has chaired the ACC?'s Cardiovascular Imaging Committee, served on the ACC Publications Committee, and completed a term as Chair of the ACC Governance Committee. He has recently completed a term as a member of the Executive Council of the Heart Failure Society of America.
He has served as a member of the FDA Medical Imaging Drugs Advisory Panel, is an invited advisor to the FDA's Division of Medical Imaging and Hematology Products, and has been invited as an ad hoc member of the FDA's Cardiovascular and Renal Drugs Advisory Panel and the Peripheral and Central Nervous System Advisory Panel. He is a member of the Association of University Cardiologists and the Association of Professors of Cardiology. Teerapat Yingchoncharoen is currently a Clinical Instructor at the Division of Cardiology, Department of Internal Medicine in Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand. He is also the Director of Echocardiography Laboratory as well as Heart Failure and Cardiomyopathy Clinic and Assistant Dean for Education and Research in Ramathibodi Hospital. He had basic background of cardiac imaging as he worked as a clinical fellow in the section of advanced cardiovascular imaging (Echocardiography/MRI) at the Cleveland Clinic for 2 years. With interest in heart failure, he continued his training as a clinical fellow in heart failure and transplantation at the Cleveland clinic for one more year. His research interest focused on arterial stiffness, cardiomyopathies and mechanical circulatory support, especially with the integration of multimodality imaging for the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure.
