Antonio Coca is Honorary Professor of Internal Medicine, School of Medicine, University of Barcelona, Spain, and Former Chief of the Hypertension and Vascular Risk Unit of the Department of Internal Medicine at the Hospital Clinic, Barcelona, Spain (1984-2018). Past-President of the Spanish Society of Hypertension (2004-2006), honorary member of the Latin American Society of Hypertension, the Interamerican Society of Cardiology, the Central American Society of Hypertension, the Argentinian Society of Hypertension, the Venezuelan Society of Hypertension, the Peruvian Society of Cardiology and the Portuguese Society of Hypertension. Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London. Emeritus Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology. In 2007 was Elected member of the Scientific Council of the European Society of Hypertension (2007-2015), serving currently as Executive-Officer responsible for relationships with Latin America. Past-Chair of the Council on Hypertension of the European Society of Cardiology (2012-2016), Past-Chair of the ESH WG on the Brain & Hypertension (2014-2016), and past-member of the Committee for Practice Guidelines of the European Society of Cardiology (2016-2018). Editor or co-Editor of 58 books on various topics within the field of hypertension. He has published more than 600 papers in international journals and has presented more than 500 invited lectures at international and national meetings and universities. He has been member of the steering committee, as well as the Spanish coordinator, of several large-scale international trials in hypertension.

Bijoy K. Khandheria is currently the Director of Echocardiography Services in Aurora Health Care Cardiovascular Services, the Director of Global Health and Executive Program, and the Professor of Medicine in the University of Wisconsin in the USA. He has 22 years of clinical, teaching and research with the Mayo Clinic, in both Rochester, MN and Scottsdale, AZ, earning recognition in the field of echocardiography. He served as the 16th president of the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) and sits on the editorial board of several prestigious cardiology journals including the Journal for Amercian Society of Echocardiography and the Journal of American College of Cardiology Imaging. He has authored and co-authored over 250 articles and edited two books on echocardiography.

Dominic Leung is a senior staff interventional cardiologist and Director of Echocardiography at the Liverpool Hospital, South west Sydney Local Health District and conjoint Professor of Cardiology, Faculty of Medicine, University of New South Wales. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh), European Society of Cardiology, American College of Cardiology, Hong Kong College of Physicians and The Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand. He has a PhD from the University of New South Wales. His current research interests include valvular heart disease, ventricular and atrial function, exercise physiology, diabetic heart disease, microvascular dysfunction, acute coronary syndrome and interventional cardiology. He is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and supervises a number of BSc (Hons), Masters and PhD students. He has been invited to speak in numerous national and international meetings and has published more than 200 papers in peer reviewed journals, book chapters, editorials, reviews and invited articles in major international journals. He was nominated for Australian of the year award in 2014 and received the Clinical Deans Award 2018.

Athanasios Manolis is currently the Director of Cardiology Department at Asklepeion Hospital in Greece, the Adjacent Clinical Professor of Medicine at Emory University, Atlanta, USA, and the Adjacent Assistant Professor of Hypertension at Boston University, USA. He is interested in all aspects of hypertension, coronary heart disease, neuro-hormonal activation and treatment of heart failure, atrial fibrillation and genetics in hypertension.
He is currently Council Member of the European Society of Hypertension, Past President of the Working Group "Hypertension and Heart" of the European Society of Cardiology, Past President of the Hellenic Society of Hypertension, and President of 2014 Joint meeting of ESH/ISH, Athens, Greece.
He is also has Associate Editor of the European Journal of Internal Medicine, and Member of the Editorial Board and Reviewer of Journals in the field of Hypertension and Cardiology. He has been involved in more than 120 multicenter trials. He has published more than 350 papers in peer reviewed international journals and more than 30 chapters in international books.

Gerald Maurer is Professor of Medicine at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria, and Emeritus Chair of the Division of Cardiology and the Department of Medicine II. Previously he had been Director of Noninvasive Cardiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and Associate Professor of Medicine at UCLA School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and in Cardiovascular Disease in the USA, as well as in Austria. His research interests are oriented towards cardiovascular imaging, valvular, and ischemic heart disease. He has authored more than 400 peer-reviewed publications, 30 book chapters and 3 books. Dr. Maurer has served as President of the Austrian Society of Cardiology, President of the Austrian Society of Internal Medicine and has held a number of functions at the American College of Cardiology and the European Society of Cardiology. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the European Heart Journal - Cardiovascular Imaging, and is or has served on the Editorial Board of most major cardiology journals. He was appointed by the European Society of Cardiology to serve as Editor of ESC Cardiomed, and of the ESC Textbook of Cardiovascular Medicine.

Hean-Yee Ong is currently a Consultant Cardiologist at Mount Elizabeth Hospital Novena.
Dr Ong graduated in 1994 from Queen ' s University of Belfast. He completed his Advanced Specialty Training in Cardiology at National University Hospital, Singapore and was a Fellow in Advanced Cardiac Imaging at the Cleveland Clinic, USA in 2006. He set up and was Head of Department of Cardiology in Alexandra Hospital / Khoo Teck Puat Hospital from 2008 - 2016.
He has significant peer-reviewed publications in exercise testing, echocardiography, cardiac CT imaging, heart failure and cardiac epidemiology.
He is the current President of Singapore Cardiac Society (2018-2019). He is also a member of the Domain Specific Review Board overlooking the ethical conduct of clinical trials.

Natesa G. Pandian obtained graduate and post-graduate medical degrees from the University of Madras, India and moved to Boston where he trained in cardiology. He has held faculty positions at the University of Iowa from 1979 to 1982, Harvard University from 1982 to 1983 and Tufts University since 1983. He is Professor of Medicine at Tufts University. He is currently Medical Director, Valve Center, and Director of Noninvasive Cardiac Imaging at Hoag Hospital, Newport Beach, California. He has authored more than 400 publications, has co-edited 6 books in cardiology and has given hundreds of clinical and scientific presentation in USA and all over the world.

Matt Umland is a senior lecturer of Cardiac Ultrasound and director of quality for Echocardiography Services at Aurora Health Care, Milwaukee, WI, USA. Matt is a credentialed advanced cardiac sonographer with almost 19 years of clinical, teaching and research experience with the Mayo Clinic and Aurora Health Care. He has obtained the designation as fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography. He has previously held the position as a board of director with American Society of Echocardiography. He has co-authored many articles as well as published in the first Echocardiography book with American Society of Echocardiography. He has been actively involved in national examination writing and lecturing at national and international conferences.

Teerapat Yingchoncharoen is currently a Clinical Instructor at the Division of Cardiology, Department of Internal Medicine in Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand. He is also the Director of Echocardiography Laboratory as well as Heart Failure and Cardiomyopathy Clinic and Assistant Dean for Education and Research in Ramathibodi Hospital. He has been one of the International Editorial Board of CASE Journal, the official journal of the American Society of Echocardiography, since 2016.
He had basic background of cardiac imaging as he worked as a clinical fellow in the section of advanced cardiovascular imaging (Echocardiography/MRI) at the Cleveland Clinic for 2 years. With interest in heart failure, he continued his training as a clinical fellow in heart failure and transplantation at the Cleveland clinic for one more year. His research interest focused on arterial stiffness, cardiomyopathies and mechanical circulatory support, especially with the integration of multimodality imaging for the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure.
